




CATSKILL―There are three candidates running for four open seats on the Catskill Central School District Board of Education. Any seat may also be filled by a write-in candidate. The candidates’ names will appear on the ballot in the following order, as determined by a random drawing of names:
Michael Dedrick (incumbent)
Paul Brown (incumbent)
Charles Holtz (incumbent)
The three highest-vote getters will be elected to three-year terms running July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2029.
The fourth highest-vote getter will fill the remainder of an unexpired term left vacant by the resignation of Junait Shah, running May 20, 2026 through June 30, 2028.
A meet the candidates forum hosted by Catskill High School’s Leadership Greene students is scheduled for May 6 at 5 p.m. in the Catskill High School library.
Catskill's 2026-27 school budget vote and Board of Education election is Tuesday, May 19, 2026, from 1-9 p.m. in the Catskill High School gymnasium.
