COXSACKIE―The Coxsackie-Athens Foundation for Education (C.A.F.E.) is preparing for its annual gala, an evening dedicated to celebrating the Coxsackie-Athens school community and supporting educational opportunities for local students.

This year's theme is “Rooted in Learning, Growing in Community”

The 2026 C.A.F.E. Gala will be held Saturday, November 14 at Pegasus Restaurant, bringing together community members, educators, alumni, families and local businesses in support of the Foundation’s mission.

One of the highlights of the C.A.F.E. Gala will be celebrating the newest members of the Coxsackie-Athens Wall of Honor. The 2026 inductees include Thomas Carroll, Jr., Alan Palmer and Joanne Trapeni Goldberg.

The Wall of Honor is a permanent distinction recognizing former graduates, teachers and staff whose accomplishments and contributions reflect positively on the Coxsackie-Athens school community. Through this recognition, C.A.F.E. celebrates the accomplishments of members of the C-A family while providing current students with inspiring examples of the possibilities that await them beyond their school years.

Since its formation, the Coxsackie-Athens Foundation for Education has worked to build meaningful partnerships among the schools, alumni, business community and, most importantly, students. That partnership has helped provide vital funding for innovative programs and projects designed to increase student engagement, encourage teacher-student collaboration and promote community stewardship.

Tickets to the gala are on sale now. Visit the C.A.F.E. Facebook page for more information, or email cafe@cacsd.org or call the district office at 518-731-1710 for tickets.

Community members and businesses interested in supporting C.A.F.E. through sponsorship opportunities are encouraged to learn more and become part of this special event. Sponsorship information is available by emailing cafe@cacsd.org.
