WINDHAM―Join Crazy Christine Balloons anytime between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 4 on the front lawn of the Windham Civic Centre to collaborate on a giant American Flag made entirely of balloons.
No experience necessary! This oversized Old Glory community art project will be part of Windham’s REV 250 Celebration. Participants will help blow up balloons and piece them together. If you don’t like blowing up balloons, they need artists who can help hand draw the 50 stars! Stay for 10 minutes to enjoy watching the process or stay as long as you like to help with the sculpture. Blow up one balloon or 20! They will use balloon pumps so you can save your lungs!
The balloons are latex and the balloon build is generally suitable for ages 8 to 108, but younger children who want to participate can be assisted by their parents or help draw the stars on the balloons with markers.
Registration is not required―just show up! The Civic Centre is located at 5379 State Route 23, corner of Main and Church Streets, Windham.
