HUDSON―Ticket sales are now open for Spring Gardening Day, a full-day, in-person gardening conference taking place on Saturday, March 28 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Hudson High School.

Spring Gardening Day brings together gardeners of all experience levels for a day of practical, science-based workshops, a garden-focused vendor space, food, and opportunities to connect with fellow plant enthusiasts. The event features multiple workshop tracks running throughout the day, allowing participants to customize their schedule based on their interests.

The day will conclude with a keynote presentation by Carolyn Summers of Flying Trillium, a nationally recognized landscape architect, author, and educator. Her talk, Native Plant Gardens: Learning by Example, will explore the beauty and ecological value of native plants through real-world garden examples.

Workshops will be led by Master Gardener Volunteers of Cornell Cooperative Extension of Columbia & Greene Counties and Cornell Cooperative Extension staff and will cover topics including seed starting, composting, soil health, native plants, vegetable gardening, wildlife management, and garden design.

Tickets are $45 and must be purchased in advance. Workshops are first come, first served, and seating is limited.
