Nominations sought for 2026 Greene County Youth Awards

CATSKILL―Once again, Greene County is seeking nominations for the annual Greene County Youth Bureau Awards (Youth of the Year, Youth Advisory Board Chairman’s Award, and Greene County Department of Human Services Director’s Award).

Please consider nominating a youth who you believe has made outstanding contributions in serving his/her community through leadership, knowledge, skill and/or service. To be eligible, the youth must be a resident of Greene County, in grades 9–12, with achievements voluntary in nature, performed within county, and not part of paid employment.

Past nominees can be re-nominated, if they have not received one of the top awards.  The nomination form must be fully completed as incomplete forms will be rejected and not considered

From the nominations received, the youth will be evaluated by The Greene County Youth Advisory Board to determine this year’s winners.  

Nomination forms can be obtained from the Greene County Department of Human Services at 411 Main Street, Catskill, NY. Deadline for nominations is March 31, 2026.
