Nick Laraway appointed to Bank of Greene County Advisory Board

CATSKILL―Bank of Greene County President Donald Gibson and Chairman of the Board Jay Cahalan are pleased to announce the appointment of Nick Laraway to the Bank of Greene County Advisory Board.  

Laraway is the executive director of administration and a key leader at Carver Companies.  He has played an instrumental role in expanding multiple business lines, positioning Carver Companies as a regional economic driver. A lifelong resident of the Capital Region, Nick began working at Carver Companies while earning his bachelor’s degree in economics from the University at Albany.  

“We are honored to welcome Nick to our Advisory Board” said Gibson.  “Nick’s expertise and leadership will be invaluable as we continue to expand into the Capital Region Market, and his commitment to giving back to the community aligns with our commitment to the communities we serve.”

Laraway is actively involved in the community and supports neighborhood revitalization efforts, annual holiday giving drives, community festivals and parades, and programs that assist local businesses and families across the region.  He was included in the Albany Business Review’s 40 Under 40 Class of 2024 and was named to their 2025 Power 50 Duos list, along with Carver Laraway.

“Our advisory board is comprised of industry and community leaders, who provide the board of directors and the leadership team with strategic guidance and industry insights. As executive director of administration at the Carver Companies, Nick bring years of experience and a unique perspective, and we are excited to have him join our team in an advisory role,” said Cahalan.

Laraway said he is honored to serve on the board.
