GREENE COUNTY―On Saturday, February 14, the On-Ti-Ora Chapter National Society Daughters of the American Revolution honored their local good citizens with awards.

The Good Citizens Award and Scholarship Contest, created in 1934, recognizes and rewards outstanding high school seniors who exemplify the qualities of dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism in their homes, schools, and communities. Selected by faculty and peers, one senior per school may receive this award, which includes a pin, certificate, and the opportunity to compete for scholarship.

On February 14, the chapter also welcomed two new members: Wendy Davis and Jennifer Taylor.
