Otto Friedrich Wallhauser, 91, of Greenville, MO, passed away peacefully Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at his residence.
He was born in Feilbingert, Germany, November 17, 1934, to Friedrich Wilhelm and Elizabeth (Chirstmann) Wallhauser.
Otto was a loving husband, father, brother, and friend whose kindness, dedication, and devotion to his family will be remembered by all who knew him. He married the love of his life, Christel M. Hoffmann, on December 20, 1958. They shared many years of love, happiness, and countless cherished memories. They were blessed with two daughters.
Otto was a devoted provider for his family. He immigrated to the United States in 1959, with Christel joining him in 1960. Their journey together continued as they built their life in upstate New York, and both became naturalized United States citizens on February 23, 1995. Otto worked for many years as a chemical process technician in a plastics factory, taking pride in providing for and caring for his family.
In his free time, Otto enjoyed fishing, traveling, and camping. He especially loved visiting national parks and creating memories along the way. He was also an avid golfer and truly loved the sport, enjoying both the game itself and the time spent outdoors.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Elaine Wallhauser.
Otto is survived by his beloved wife of sixty-seven years; daughter, Angela Wallhauser of Williamsville; sister, Katie Witte of Jefferson Heights, New York; and many dear friends.
Otto will be deeply missed by his family and friends. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him, and the life he shared with his family will remain a treasured legacy.
