Keith E. Ward passed away peacefully at home on July 14, 2026, surrounded by the comfort of his family.

He was born on May 13, 1944, in Moravia, New York.

Keith worked for Verizon for many years before retiring in June 2002. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who cherished the time he spent with his family.

Keith was known for his wonderful sense of humor and his ability to find laughter even during life’s most difficult moments. His quick wit and lighthearted spirit brought joy to those around him, and his family will deeply miss the laughter and happiness he brought into their lives.

After retiring, Keith stayed busy with his many talents and passions. He was a true handyman who was always working on an ongoing home improvement project, often completing items from his wife’s “honey-do” list. There was never a project too big or too small. He took great pride in helping his family and was always willing to lend his skills, time, and knowledge to complete projects for his girls. His dedication, creativity, and willingness to help will be remembered and cherished by all who knew him.

He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Marianne; his two daughters, Carla Krzykowski and Debra Gibney; his grandchildren, Marissa (Kevin) O’Connell, Makayla (Kyle) Gibson, and Nicholas Gibney; and his great-granddaughter, Elena Gibson.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the Community Hospice for the compassionate care, comfort, and support they provided to Keith and his loved ones during his final days. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Greene County Community Hospice in Keith’s memory.

Arrangements have been entrusted by Keith's family to the W.C. Brady's Funeral Home in Coxsackie.
