Donna Marie (Kemnah) DeRose, 68, of Cairo, New York, peacefully passed away on July 24, 2026, surrounded by family.

Born on January 14, 1958, to Conrad and Catherine Kemnah, Donna lived a life defined by love, strength, kindness, and devotion to her family. She offered support and love without hesitation throughout her entire life.

On August 13, 1977, she married John DeRose, her devoted husband, best friend, and constant source of happiness. Together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and joy.

Donna is survived by her three children: Michael (Jennifer) DeRose, Steven (Rachna) DeRose, and Tracy (Jeff) DeRose. She adored her grandchildren, Patience, Logan, Cody, Jeffrey, Nia, Madi-Jo, Mya and Jai, who brought her endless pride and happiness.

Those who knew Donna will remember her warm laugh and the simple pleasures she cherished. She especially enjoyed spending time with her husband, traveling, gardening, visiting the beach, gathering with friends, and making memories with family.

Donna was predeceased by her parents Conrad and Catherine Kemnah; her brothers, Rich (Nancy) Kemnah and Ray Kemnah. She will be greatly missed by her sister, Patti (Jeff) Sterling and her brothers Dennis (Mary) Kemnah and Kevin (Betty) Kemnah.

Donna also left behind many nieces and nephews who she dearly loved.

Donna was a true matriarch and heart of her family with unconditional love, wisdom, and a comforting presence that brought everyone together. Her legacy lives on in the laughter she shared, the love she gave so freely, and the many lives she touched. She will be deeply missed by all that knew her.
