



Andrew P. Camputaro ("Andy Camp"), 87, of Old Kings Rd., Catskill, passed away on April 6, 2026, at Albany Medical Center.
He was born in West Haven, CT, a son of the late Angelo and Carmela Giannotti Camputaro. Andrew moved to Round Top in the early 1960’s and married Jeri Jones.
Andy was well known as the owner and producer of Double R Championship Rodeo, Catskill. He started out bull riding, calf roping and as a rodeo clown. A member of the International Professional Rodeo Association (IPRA), he was voted Producer of the year, Stock Contractor of the year and Best New Rodeo of the year multiple times. He worked throughout the Northeast and once in Puerto Rico.
He worked for Peckham Industries, Athens for many years as the Ballaststar sales manager.
Loving husband of 52 years to Jeri Camputaro; father of Justin Camputaro (Robin) of Everett, WA and Lori Davis of West Haven, CT; grandfather of Olivia and Zoe Camputaro, Jaime, Mark and Andrew Davis, Jenna Kearney, and Ashley Porcello; great-grandfather to nine; brother of Dominic Camputaro of Madison, CT and the late Mae Vitti, Connie Marino, Pauline Camputaro, Francine Arnold, Jean DeSimone, Mary Bozzuto, Frank Camputaro, Terri Mucha, and Angie Derrico; and uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, April 15 from 4-7 p.m. at Traver & McCurry Funeral Home, 234 Jefferson Hgts., Catskill. A service will be held at 6:30 p.m. by Deacon Mike McDonald.
