CLIMAX―Medway Congregational Christian Church is proud to announce its 200th anniversary, marking a significant milestone of faith, service, and community engagement in Climax.
To mark this occasion, a celebration will be held on Saturday, June 13 from 12-3 p.m. at the church, located at 1324 County Route 26 in Climax.
Founded in 1826, Medway Congregational Christian Church has been a cornerstone of the community, growing from meeting at the Jonathan Miller farm to a congregation dedicated to serving the local community and sharing the gospel through its Sunday service, outreach events, and fellowship.
The church is currently under the pastoral leadership of James Williams. The anniversary event will feature a barbeque, kid’s activities, historical artifacts, and a time of fellowship. All community members are invited to join the celebration.
If anyone has a memory, photo, or memento that they would like to share for the celebration, the church can be reached at MedwayCongregational@gmail.com, on Facebook (Medway Congregational Christian Church), or via Instagram (MedwayCongregational).
Everyone is also welcome to attend the weekly Sunday service at 9 a.m. Sunday School for children is provided during the service and fellowship meals follow each Sunday service.
