GREENVILLE―Greenville High School Class of 1976 alum and author Gail Wells will be holding a book signing for her latest release, The Valley Between Us, Book Two.
It takes place on Sunday, June 7 from 2-5 p.m. at the Greenville Public Library, 11177 State Route 32 in Greenville.
The book is an historical fiction romance novel set in 1840's western New York State.
As 1848 draws to a close, Heath McKrell is a man who is determined to protect his own heart. But his unspoken passion for the spirited Lily Spencer can no longer be ignored.
While they work to bring peace to their fractured families, Lily find herself drawn to the burgeoning women’s suffrage movement—a path that carries devastating consequences. Haunted by her past and pursued by a stepbrother determined to claim her for his own, Lily must rely on Heath as they embark on a perilous journey across the New York frontier. In a world of beauty and brutality, will a New Year’s Eve confession come in time, or will their future be lost forever.
All are welcome to come and meet Wells and learn about her writing process and the inspiration for her novels. Paperback copies of Book One and Book Two will be available for purchase.
Free bookmakers will be given to the first 25 visitors.
Light refreshments will be served courtesy of Ventura's Catering and Cheesecakes.
