CAIRO—Last year, the animated smash K-Pop Demon Hunters became Netflix's most-watched film of all time, surpassing more than 500 million views around the world.

On Friday, February 27, The Art Hub on Main Street in Cairo will host a K-Pop Demon Hunters party for kids with singing, dancing, snacks and two craft projects based on the pop-culture franchise.

“My daughter is seven and all her friends are super into K-Pop Demon Hunters,” explained Yuliya Benoit, owner of The Art Hub. “It seemed like the perfect outlet for that excitement.”

K-Pop Demon Hunters has grown into a worldwide phenomenon among younger audiences, particularly through online media and music-driven content. The franchise centers on pop idols who secretly battle supernatural forces, combining themes of teamwork, empowerment, and self-expression with high-energy visuals and sound.

Its popularity has inspired toys, fashion, fan communities, and themed events worldwide.

The Art Hub party, Benoit noted, is also intended to provide a seasonal boost for families during the winter months.

“It’s really about having fun and shaking off the winter blues,” she said.

Costumes are welcome and the party is structured to emphasize participation and creative expression, Benoit said.

Opened last year at 467 Main Street, The Art Hub is a multi-media studio that offers a range of art classes and workshops, including paint your own pottery. They regularly host birthday parties and themed events aimed at encouraging creativity and community engagement.

The K-Pop Demon Hunters party runs from 6-8 p.m. Seating is limited and registration is required at www.thearthubcairo.com. The cost is $35 per child.
