




GREENVILLE―Two people from Durham are facing felony drug charges following a traffic stop on State Route 32 in Greenville.
Joshua Weisinger, 43, and Kimberly Loucks, 43, were both arrested on Monday by the Greene County Sheriff’s Office.
During the traffic stop, Weisinger was allegedly in possession of 54 grams of cocaine, while Loucks was allegedly found to have 58 grams of cocaine, according to the sheriff’s office.
A subsequent search warrant was executed on their residence, resulting in the discovery of additional amounts of crack cocaine, heroin and drug paraphernalia, the sheriff’s office reported.
Weisinger was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, both class B felonies.
Loucks was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class B felony.
Both were arraigned in Greenville Town Court. Weisinger was remanded to the Greene County Jail without bail and Loucks was released on her own recognizance.
The sheriff’s office was assisted by the Greene County District Attorney’s Office and Greene County Probation Department.
