CATSKILL―CREATE Council on the Arts is pleased to announce the grant recipients of 2026 GCCF (Greene County Cultural Fund) program. These grants are made possible with funds allocated by the Greene County Legislature and are administered by CREATE Council on the Arts for arts and cultural organizations within Greene County.

The purpose of this program is to provide general operating or programmatic support to major Greene County organizations that offer quality professional services and programs of benefit to the residents of Greene County. This funding is intended to promote the development, growth and viability of major cultural organizations.

In 2026, thirteen Greene County organizations received a total of $40,000 in grant funding.

The grantees include:

Athens Cultural Center

Blue Mountains Projects DBA Shandaken Projects

Bridge Street Theatre

Catskill Mountain Foundation

Catskill Mountain Shakespeare

Friends of Beattie-Powers Place

Matthew Strother Foundation

Michael J. Quill Irish Cultural & Sports Centre

Music and Art Center of Greene County

Prattsville Art Project, Inc.

Thomas Cole National Historic Site

Wave Farm

Zadock Pratt Museum
