
GREENE COUNTY—The Greene County Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the five honorees who will be recognized at the 2026 Greene County Recognition Gala, taking place Wednesday, September 23, at Pegasus Restaurant in Coxsackie.
Each year, the Recognition Gala celebrates the people, businesses and organizations whose leadership, dedication and contributions help make Greene County a stronger place to live, work and do business. This year’s honorees were selected from nominations submitted by the community.

Through vision and creativity, the Worths have transformed their family farm into a premier wedding and event destination, creating signature events that bring people together, support local businesses and showcase all that Greene County has to offer.

Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival
For decades, the Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival has preserved and celebrated bluegrass music through world-class performances, educational workshops, jam sessions and mentorship. By welcoming music lovers of all ages, the festival supports local businesses and strengthens Greene County’s reputation as a cultural destination.
“This year’s honorees represent so much of what makes Greene County special,” said Beth Stewart, president and executive director of the Greene County Chamber of Commerce.
“They lead, serve, create opportunities, support others and invest in this community. The Recognition Gala gives us a chance to celebrate not only what they have accomplished, but the impact they have on the people and places around them,” Stewart added.
The Greene County Chamber of Commerce’s 2026 Recognition Gala will bring together business and community leaders from throughout the county on Wednesday, September 23, at Pegasus Restaurant in Coxsackie to celebrate honorees and their contributions.
