SCHOHARIE―The Schoharie Promotional Association will present the ninth annual Lily Festival from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 11, at the Schoharie Lily Park.

Located on Fort Road in the historic Village of Schoharie, the Lily Park features a lily-lined walking path that passes through gardens planted by community members.  The park will be in bloom with tiger and many other lilies alive with color.

The festival’s theme this year is America 250, and will feature a number of patriotic events, as well as music, a dance group, pony rides, the Utica Zoo Mobile, and much more.

Food, many children’s activities, and over 75 vendors and artisans will line the park and the adjacent covered bridge. The popular dog competition returns this year as well as a large chance raffle featuring baskets and many other exceptional items. The “American as Apple Pie” contest invites bakers to enter for prizes in the bake-off contest.

Admission and parking are free as well as shuttle service which will be available from outer parking areas. Visit schohariepromo.org for a complete schedule and map.
