Gail E. Garden, 79, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, December 5, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on November 20, 1946, in Catskill to the late Sheldon and Charlotte Volker Ives.

Gail graduated from Greenville High School in 1965, and graduated from Colonna Beauty School that same year. She was a talented hairdresser for an impressive 58 years.

She had a great sense of humor. Gail found enjoyment working outside on her flowers and spending time with her daughters and grandchildren She adored her kitties.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by a brother George Forsythe and her sister Elaine Bates.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Victoria(Scott) Lounsbury and Melissa (Jared) Kuhn, as well as her grandchildren, Hailie and Morgan Lounsbury and Levi and Wyatt Kuhn. She is also survived by her brother Dana Ives, nieces and nephews Michelle (Brian Bender) Bates, Tim Bates, Devlin Foster, Daniele (Walt) Foster, Dawn Herwick, Laurie (Todd) Deyo, Julia Forsythe, as well as many great nieces, nephews, and many cousins.

A special thanks to Diane, Mary, Rae, and Dolce, and everyone for their love and support.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, December 11 from 4to 6:30 p.m. at the A.J. Cunningham Funeral Home, 4898 State Route 81,Greenville. The funeral will follow at 6:30 p.m. Burial will take place in the spring.
